Scheduling for installation & field-service contractors

See the whole week's work. Not just who's free.

DKalendar is the engineers-by-days wall planner your office already thinks in — made live. The office plans the week, engineers and drivers work from their phones, and everyone looks at the same board.

Private, invitation-only software: your company's administrator creates your account. Works in any modern browser on PC, tablet and phone — nothing to install.

The DKalendar office calendar: engineers down the side, the week across the top, every visit a chip with its job, address, kit status, notes and send state
✓ Hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) ✓ HTTPS only ✓ Role-based access, per-company isolation ✓ No ads, no trackers — one sign-in cookie ✓ Any phone, no app store
What it does

One board for the office. One screen for the site.

Everything a small contractor juggles across a spreadsheet, a group chat and a folder of Word forms — in one place, kept in sync for everyone.

📅

Live team calendar

Engineers down the side, days across the top, every visit a chip colour-coded by category, with its important notes and reminders visible straight away. Drag to move, copy to another engineer, filter by team. Every open screen updates within seconds.

🗂️

One job card

Every visit, delivery, photo, checklist, note, update and document for a job on a single card — and it's the same card the engineers open on site. Reached from the calendar, the jobs list or dispatch, always the same record.

📱

The engineer's phone

Today's jobs with the site address, contacts and related documents. Photo checklists, progress and daily updates from site — and a request to the office when something's missing. Copes with patchy signal.

🚚

Deliveries & dispatch

Deliveries are added by managers straight from the calendar; the Dispatch view arranges the kit: dispatch dates, the driver's run, proof-of-delivery photos and delivery notes — and a warning when a visit is booked with no kit on its way.

🔧

Maintenance & PPM

Planned preventive maintenance per site with its frequency and an all-sites view of what's due — and a maintenance job card with every update, report, document and photo: call-outs, materials and the full job history in one place.

📊

Reports

Quick reports on what's already in the system — job days by category, maintenance and call-out days, holidays and sick days, wasted visits, who was free and when — each number drilling down to the jobs behind it.

A day with DKalendar

Book it. Do it. Close it.

The same record travels from the office to the site and back, so nobody re-types anything and nothing gets lost in a chat thread.

The office books the visit

A chip lands on the board, on the engineer's phone and in the weekly instruction email. The office attaches the drawings and documents to the job, and kit is ordered against the same job, so dispatch already knows what's going where.

The engineer works from the phone

Whoever is booked on the job automatically gets its card on their phone — address, contacts, kit and documents. Photos, the checklist and the day's update go straight onto that card. A missing part becomes a request the office sees immediately.

The office closes the loop

Overdue updates and unsigned deliveries are chased from one list. Progress, proofs and history are on the card when the client asks — and in the reports at month end.

Who it's for

Built for specialist installation contractors.

Teams of ten to fifty engineers running multi-day, phased installs on commercial and construction sites — with a maintenance book on the side. If you plan your jobs in a spreadsheet, this is that spreadsheet — alive, and better.

  • Leak detection & building services
  • Fire alarm & suppression
  • BMS & controls
  • Security & ELV systems
  • Data cabling & networks
  • Sprinklers & mechanical
  • Electrical fit-out
  • Planned maintenance contracts

Why not a big field-service suite?

Most field-service tools are built around hourly appointments and show you availability numbers. DKalendar is built around whole-day site work and shows you the actual work: every engineer's week, the kit behind it, the notes and reminders, and what's on stop — readable in one scroll.

And the job card the office works from is the one the engineer opens on site: every visit, delivery, document, photo and update, with the full history — one record, no re-typing.

Deliberately not included: quoting, invoicing and payments. DKalendar does the planning and the site record, and stays out of the way of the tools you already use for the rest.

Security & data — for IT teams

A private business application, nothing more.

dkalendar.app is a login-only web application used by field-service companies to schedule engineers and record site work. It serves no public content beyond this page and the privacy notice, hosts no downloads, and carries no advertising or third-party tracking.

Everything the browser loads — scripts, styles, fonts and images — is served from dkalendar.app itself over HTTPS. There are no third-party scripts, no external fonts and no analytics. The only cookie is the functional sign-in cookie.

Each customer company's data is isolated from every other company's, access is restricted by role, passwords are stored hashed, and an activity log records who changed what. Data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt) with rolling 14-day backups.
